Kikai (jap./kanji) means 'ocean of energy'. Kikai started as a
solo-project of Marius C. Hammerich to be a place for musical creativity.
Since 2005 it evolves more and more into a solid project with musicians
from around the world participating.
The music of 'Kikai' is inspired by machines and sounds from the early
days of synthesizer music – freshed up with acoustic, ambient and sonic
elements.
